The Sweet Story of Good Dough
Benjamin Shamoilia was living with Crohn’s disease when a flare-up in late December 2024 put him in the hospital for a couple of weeks including the holidays. Instead of giving in, he used recovery as a reset. He reinvented his life—clean eating, daily workouts, and an obsession with nutrition and wholesome ingredients.
But the sweet tooth remained and he knew that he could not eat the traditional desserts and sweets that he had previously. He started experimenting in his kitchen, rebuilding the desserts he missed using only wholesome ingredients.
The results were so great that friends and family were wanting more. Friends, family, and pastry chefs all agreed: his “better-for-you” cakes and cookies tasted better than the originals and left you feeling great and satisfied.
It Was Clear
"My goal was to redefine indulgence by baking desserts that are as good for your body as they are for your soul without compromising on taste."
Healthier Option
There weren't healthier options that tasted delicious. Some people think that just because products are labeled as "gluten-free", "organic", or "vegan" that it makes them healthy. That is not true. The products can still contain harmful ingredients.
Good Dough only uses wholesome and organic ingredients in the bakery. All of the cakes are handcrafted and made with love for you to enjoy.
